9TH RALLY EDITION: OCTOBER 10 – 19, 2024

#112 – RazorCrest Pilots

Their path to the Rebelle all started in 1993, when Kristine had the perfect daughter, Kayla. Just kidding! But honestly, they were just sitting in a diner having lunch when Kristine told Kayla about her dream of competing in the Rebelle. One super awesome Rebelle video later, and Kayla was absolutely not going to miss this opportunity, despite having zero experience off-roading. Kristine’s Jeep’s name, “Gus Bluefield” is not the cutest thing about him, believe it or not. He is the 5th beloved child of Kristine and her late husband David, and took them on many an adventure before David’s passing. They will think of David often during the competition, probably wish he was digging sand instead of them, and maybe do some witchcraft and talk to him, who knows. Gus has now been dubbed “Gus RazorCrest Bluefield,” mostly because that’s what happens when you are trying to prepare for a rally and binge watch The Mandalorian at the same time. It could have been “The Duke of Hastings Gus Bluefield,” but they felt it would have caused too many accidents to have a decal of a shirtless Simon Basset. They’re both Rebelle Rookies and totally nervous/excited about participating in the 2021 Rebelle. They’re looking forward to meeting so many other awesome ladies and testing their skills on the course!
