Avis moved to St. George in early 2021 and as an avid off-roader she and her husband Rob needed an off-road shop and they made their way into Dixie 4 Wheel Drive. After becoming good customers Avis decided on a whim to ask Tara if she knew what the Rebelle Rally was. Tara immediately responded YES since it had been on her radar for the past few years of things she would one day want to participate in. Avis then followed with would you be my partner and the rest is history. Avis and Tara have developed a great relationship over the last year and when they’re in the Jeep together they get through the tough spots with laughter. They are looking forward to 10 days of sore cheeks from all the smiling and laughing.

"love her but leave her wild"
At the age of 48 I decided to learn to ride dirt bikes and got my first one ever. it was a bucket list skill item for me.
When I moved to Utah, I knew this was my year. It was on my list since I heard about it from Rachelle Croft. The Rebelle for me represents an adventure of skill and competition, both of which I seek out in my life. It's a way to grow and stretch myself personally, socially and to add new skills.
Adventure inspires me! Any kind of adventure really, be it trying something new physically, seeing a new place, learning a new skill or just challenging myself with whatever hard thing I'm presented. Fortunately my husband is always encouraging me and inspiring me to go for it.
I’m forever a Survivor fan.
We took a family overloading trip from central Virginia to Deadhorse Alaska. We drove a 2020 Lexus GX 460 and a 100 Series Toyota Landcruiser.

Because somebody finally asked.
