Mandy is an Army Veteran residing in Maryland who continues to work with the military in the Department of Defense; she is always in search of a challenge that brings her together with like-minded people - if she can do that while traveling, that’s a bonus! When she’s not traveling or searching for a challenge, you can usually find her at the gym Blue Crab CrossFit, which her and her husband recently purchased in June of this year, or out with her horse and dog, Donner and Roady.

My dad has worked for United Airlines since I was three, so spontaneous travel is in my blood as our travel consisted of flying standby (only get on the plane if there are open seats), so I’m use to taking the scenic route to get to where I’m going.
I love the challenge the Rebelle provides and the amazing support that comes along with it. In my first two years, I have met so many amazing people and have had incredible opportunities since doing the Rebelle. It’s a challenge that helps you become a better person and teaches you skills that are helpful in many parts of your life.
People achieving something they didn’t know they were capable of - that’s one of my biggest draws to coaching and teaching. When someone accomplishes something they didn’t know they could, that inspires me to keep help people realize how amazing they are.

I did a lot of solo travel through college when I had free flying benefits, so now that I have an income and can afford travel, my favorite adventures are the ones I get to share with my friends and family. I have a friend and a cousin who I’ve had a lot of fun, spontaneous, hilarious trips with - so any of those are my favorite.

She has been following and supporting the Rebelle Rally for 3 years and is excited to take the plunge and compete this year. When she is not pushing herself to try something that scares her she is hiking with her dogs and looking for the world's best cup of coffee.
