This is Samantha and Becky’s second year competing in the Rebelle Rally. Early in 2020, a friend told Sam about Rebelle. She followed the preparations of the Rally teams all year and watched the competition in October 2020. Inspired by the event, she quickly asked Becky Brophy to be her teammate, and they proposed the idea to run the 2021 Rebelle Rally to Toyota Production Engineering Executives. Sam and Becky succeeded in their pitch and worked to expand the Toyota PE division’s motorsports team to include off-road, with the added benefit of promoting women in engineering, manufacturing, and motorsports. Sam and Becky want to continue to build on what they learned to take it to the next level while sticking to their daily mantra- No Wide Miss.

I have two engineering degrees and I love riding horses.
Rebelle Rally challenges so many aspects of how I think and push myself. I love that Rebelle is a competition that is about accuracy and strategy. The community and support structure that is formed with Rebelle is unlike anything else adding so much value to the lives of everyone who is involved.
I am inspired most when I can support someone to achieve a goal of theirs.
