Shea and Colleen were recently deployed together with the 745th Forward Resuscitative Surgical Team in Al Anbar province, Iraq, where we discovered mutual Jeep and off-road interests. We will be competing the 2022 Rebelle Rally in Shea’s Jeep, Clementine, competing in the 4×4 modified division. Although we are stationed across the globe from each other, we convene on FaceTime for regular training sessions in between meeting in person for hands-on practice. We had quite an adventure earlier this year when Clementine broke down in the middle of the desert during one of our Rebelle training weekends. We are so thankful for our new Rebelle friends who helped us to recover the Jeep and enabled us to continue our training despite the setbacks. We are never far from chaos!

I have been wanting to join the Rebelle for years, and I finally get the opportunity to participate in 2022 thanks to finding an awesome teammate who shares the same love of overlanding and adventure. Bonus points for the timing of the 2022 Rebelle also aligning with our career paths!
I once stood in line for 5 hours outside in the dead of winter to get a same-day ticket to see my favorite play, Waiting for Godot, on Broadway. I love the theater. Lion King, Spring Awakening, Wicked, Avenue Q…it’s hard to pick just three!
My greatest adventure to date has been raising my right hand and swearing to support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies. Army service has taken me to far corners of the world and has enabled me to develop lifelong relationships with the most amazing people, experiencing circumstances few others have the privilege to endure.
