9TH RALLY EDITION: OCTOBER 10 – 19, 2024

Rockin' the Dots

We’re a mother/daughter team that’s fully immersed in offroading. Our whole family’s year starts and ends with King of the Hammers in February and almost every free weekend is spent wheeling or wrenching. We love offroading and the offroad community and we advocate for land use whenever we can.

Fun Fact:

I used to be a jet ski race promoter and that's how my husband and I met. I used to train law enforcement on jet skis, my parents are in the jet ski hall of fame.

Why the Rebelle? Why now?

Jessi Combs passed away in 2019 and my sister Jaci passed in 2020, and I turned 65 this year. These events spurred me to pursue goals that I'd been putting off; the Rebelle being one of them.

Who, or what, inspires you most?

My family; my parents inspired me to pursue racing and competition with jet skis. My kids have inspired me to continue that work with offroading.

Fun Fact:

I was the first to race a Suzuki Samurai in Ultra4 (King of the Hammers) stock class, and I run a three-day trail run on Rubicon called Zukicon that encourages other Suzuki drivers to experience the legendary Rubicon trail.

Why the Rebelle? Why now?

My mom and I have wanted to compete in the Rebelle since its inception. This year the stars finally aligned.

Who, or what, inspires you most?

My mom has always inspired me to do the right thing and be myself. She's also taught me to be a good example for my three younger siblings, who also inspire me in their own ways. My dad has inspired me to push hard for my career and be successful, while still taking the time to have fun.
