After unplanned events affected each of us we were both in search of a teammate for our rookie year. We connected with each other in May 2022, just 5 months before the rally. Raelynn and her husband traveled to Texas so that we could meet in person over the Memorial Day weekend. It was like getting together with friends you had known for years. We made our team official and then laughed as we both said it felt like we had been preparing for the biggest job interview we ever had! We competed in the Rebelle Rally in 2022 and found working together came easy and felt natural. We both feel blessed to have made the connection and to be on this incredible journey together.

I love to scuba and have jumped out of a perfectly good airplane twice.
I remember heading to the finish line last year and feeling an emptiness as the adventure was almost over. It was an overwhelming experience that tops the charts of epic adventures. I knew it wasn't a "one and done" for me. I was so thankful that Raelynn was on board with doing this again because I couldn't think of anyone else I would want to ride shotgun and navigate for me!
I come from a long line of strong and incredible women who taught me how to work hard, stand up for myself and accomplish everything I set out to do. My three boys also inspire me. They are young and navigating in a tough world right now but they are succeeding and making their way. I have always tried to be a good example to them and I am proud of what they have accomplished and what they will accomplish in the future.

Being a mom has always been my greatest adventure but competing in the 2022 Rebelle Rally certainly tops the charts!

She has been an adventurer since childhood, taking her first pack trip in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with her family, at the age of 3. She has always been drawn to the outdoors and loves to take road trips often. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, 3 Labrador Retrievers and her newest Adventure dog, Archie

My rookie year, in 2022, was driven by the adventure aspect. Before we even crossed the finish line Sheila and I decided to compete again in 2023. To be around this group of amazing women is an honor and the Rebelle experience is unmatched.
I am inspired most by my mother. She was a strong woman who faced challenges head on. She was my biggest cheerleader and has always encouraged me to push through when life gets difficult. We called her Tough As Nails because she was a fighter and she never give up. We lost her to Pancreatic Cancer in March of 2023 and some of her final words to me were "go get 'em!"
