Adriana and Angela’s story started with a simple Instagram connection—two women who shared a love for doing things a little differently. After swapping DMs, it was clear they’d make a solid team. One “Tinder-like” date later, the spark was undeniable: they were headed for the 2024 Rebelle Rally. What started as a first-time partnership quickly grew into something stronger—built on mutual respect, laughter, and a shared commitment to pushing limits. Now, they’re back and ready to take on the 10th anniversary edition: the 2025 Rebelle Rally. This time, with more horsepower, poise, and miles of experience together behind them.

I currently serve as the Bar Manager at Copine, an acclaimed fine dining restaurant in Seattle, where I’ve been part of the team for nearly a decade. During my time, I’ve created and led the restaurant’s beverage program. Working in this high-pressure, high-expectation environment requires resilience, adaptability, and a strong presence. Being constantly observed, critiqued, and praised can be challenging—but in the right setting, it fosters tremendous personal and professional growth. I’m a full-time mother to my 10-year-old son, Hawk—my curious, creative mini-me. Parenthood is easily the most demanding and rewarding role I’ve taken on, and it continues to remind me that I’m capable of anything.

A few things that might surprise you: I have a deep love for art and poetry, and a strong academic background in psychology, sociology, and French.
The Rebelle Rally embodies everything that I love: competition, collaboration, nature, and adventure. If I could do this every day I would.
I’m endlessly inspired by Jessi Combs—not just for what she accomplished, but for how she did it. She trail blazed simply because it was fun and it was who she was to the core. That kind of pure, unapologetic passion resonates deeply with me, and it reminds me that showing up as your authentic self is the most powerful thing you can do.
If I am doing any of the above, it is because I am sad I am not outside playing with my Jeep.
Maybe now... it is deciding to do this crazy thing called the Rebelle Rally. Preparing, showing up and completing it last year was a huge accomplishment and the hardest thing I have ever done. Let's do it again!
2024
For the 2025 Rebelle Rally, my goals are simple but meaningful: I’m here for whatever comes. I want to stay present, soak up every bit of knowledge I can, support others along the way, and truly enjoy the experience with my teammate. I hope to make our sponsors proud, not just with our performance, but with the spirit we bring. Competing alongside such incredible women is already a win—but showing others what’s possible when you step out of your comfort zone, that’s the ultimate goal.
My happy places are as varied as my interests: the beach with my dog, the basketball court, in the saddle on horseback, or anywhere I can go fast. I’ve always had a competitive streak and a need for speed—so much so that I used to joke I should’ve been a race car driver. Lately, that’s sounding less like a joke and more like a future plan.
I’ve been into cars for a long time—but for years, they intimidated me. I didn’t grow up working on them, and I had no idea where to start. But when the pandemic hit and the restaurant shut down for over a year, I found myself stuck indoors with a young kid and a serious case of cabin fever. So, we took to the outdoors—and took the Jeep everywhere. What started as occasional trips turned into full-blown off-grid adventures—sometimes for weeks at a time. I became obsessed with figuring out how to make the Jeep perform better. Bit by bit, I started modifying it and learning how to work on it myself. What began as curiosity quickly evolved into a full-blown passion. Now, the Jeep is heavily built—originally for rock crawling, but more recently adapted for desert endurance events like the Rebelle Rally. 2024 was my first major competition, but it definitely won’t be the last. I’m eager to explore rallycross, rock crawling events, and global driving challenges. Ultimately, I’d love to teach off-road driving and be a positive, visible force for women in motorsports. Because the more we show up, the more we open the door for others to follow.
Nearly every weekend, we’re out exploring as a family—hitting new trails, discovering hidden gems, camping under the stars, and just being fully immersed in the outdoors. OnX helps us plan smarter and safer, whether we’re navigating remote terrain or searching for the perfect spot to fish, hike, or just let the kid and pup run wild. Sharing these experiences and encouraging others to get out there—especially women and families—is a big part of what drives me.
I really loved our time out in Johnson Valley last year. That was my least favorite basecamp (hard rocky windy) but the best in terms of driving IMHO. The terrain changes in instant and every turn is something new and amazing. I could picture dinosaurs tromping through the rocks.
I found being surrounded by people the hardest part. Just stepping out of your tent into a sea of people and not having any real alone time was hard day after day.
The Rebelle Rally has truly changed me—it gave me purpose and a platform to show what I’m capable of. Off-road driving isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s where I feel the most confident, the most challenged, and the most alive. Having the opportunity to do something I love on a national stage is incredibly unique, and it’s an honor I don’t take lightly. This rally has helped me grow not just as a driver, but as a person—it’s shown me the power of resilience, the value of community, and just how far I can go when I trust myself.
When I was turning 7—my golden birthday—my aunt told me I could have any gift I wanted. I had been absolutely dying for the hot pink Barbie Power Wheels Jeep. You know the one. It was all I could think about. Well, my big day rolled around, and sure enough, I got a Barbie Jeep… but I had forgotten to mention that I wanted the big one. The one you could actually drive. What I got was a tiny plastic Jeep—for my Barbies. (Who, let’s be honest, usually ended up with their heads popped off.) To say I was bummed would be an understatement. Fast forward 30 years, and now? I’ve got my hot pink Jeep—full-sized, trail-ready, and way cooler than I ever imagined. So yeah, I’d say it all worked out.
I am a Senior Watershed Scientist for an environmental consulting company. I get to protect and manage coastal waterbodies like rivers, creeks, lakes, harbors, reservoirs, etc. I have been in the water industry my entire career and I love focusing on our most precious resource. My career is fascinating, challenging and I know I am making a tangible difference in the places I live and recreate in. I am so grateful to have such a meaningful professional journey.

I can wiggle my ears!
Female empowerment is so important to me and finding this event that incorporates those values, plus being able to connect with the landscape in such an extreme way...it's totally up my alley.
My son Gunner is my biggest inspiration. My love for the outdoors really began with him, and I'm always looking for ways to be someone he can look up to.
Not a huge TV person… But my top 3 books are The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Siddhartha by Herman Hesse and Endurance by Alfred Lansing
The Rebelle Rally! I competed last year and completely fell in love with the format, the staff, the competitors and the entire experience. I'm excited to continue the adventure again this year.
2023, 2024
This will be my third Rebelle and I am so excited to refine my navigation skills, continue to grow the amazing relationship I have with my partner Angela and see all of my favorite girls at the start line! This competition is so grueling, but the sense of satisfaction I know I’ll have at the finish line is worth every struggle. Also, I can’t wait to spend over a week away from my cell phone and computer and just be fully present in the moment.
I absolutely love camping and offroading in the beautiful public lands in the west. Backpacking the eastern sierras with my son, snowboarding in the winter and surfing in the summer. Just being outside!
I’ve always been fascinated by racing, and have spent many years as a spectator at KOH, the Ventura Raceway, etc. The Rebelle was the first chance for me to compete and I’ve never looked back. The community and the sense of accomplishment is like nothing else.
I have spent a lot of time in the backcountry for both work and personal time. I do a lot of solo backpacking, have spent a decent amount of time on the Channel Islands doing research for my thesis, about 15 years of my career was spent primarily in the field. I’ve been everywhere.
I absolutely love the ghost towns in Nevada and the mountains in Mammoth. The desert is beautiful too, but nothing beats a sunrise or the Milky Way at elevation.
The hardest part of the Rebelle for me personally is being around so many people for an extended period of time. I live alone and work from home so my regular life is very solitary, so it’s a bit overwhelming being around a few hundred people day in day out.
The Rebelle has given me a sense of confidence I didn’t know I had before. The community of like-minded l, badass women makes me feel accepted and celebrated. The difficulty of the course is something I lean remember when life gets hard. The support I receive from friends, family and team partners is unreal. It has brought so many different facets of my life together and I’m so grateful to have found this platform and these amazing people.
I bought my 4Runner after I got divorced and it was the gateway drug into the adventure driven lifestyle I live now. It has taken me to so many places and I’ve modified and maintain it (mostly) myself. It’s been such an empowering hobby and facilitates so many memories for me and my kiddo.
