Katie Abraham entered the Rebelle Rally in 2022 looking for a challenge. What she found was a spark that shifted everything: her career, her confidence, and her sense of direction.
Since that first rally, Katie has stepped into the off-road industry full time, co-driven in desert races, and started teaching recovery and driving skills to others. She’s building a life rooted in adventure, purpose, and saying yes to what scares her.
This month’s Where Are They Now catches up with Katie to see how the Rebelle helped her trust herself, find her voice, and create a life that feels fully her own.
Katie Abraham was working in the marketing agency world when she signed up for her first Rebelle. That experience shifted everything.
“Three months after that rally, I left agency life and joined Dometic. It was the first time my work aligned with my passion for the outdoors and 4WD culture.”
In 2024, she stepped into a leadership role with IRONMAN 4×4, where she now leads B2B marketing across the U.S. and works closely with others who share her drive for adventure.
Rebelle didn’t just shape Katie’s professional path. It also ignited a love for motorsports.
She trained with pro drivers and co-drivers and competed in the Overmountain Rally in Tennessee in 2023. In April 2025, she co-drove her first desert race at the King Shocks Battle at Primm.
“Co-driving became a deep passion for me. It’s not just about adrenaline. It’s about clarity under pressure, learning constantly, and connecting with others through shared experience.”
One of the most meaningful shifts Katie experienced came from within. She discovered a love for teaching and mentoring, especially helping women push past fear and step into their potential.
She’s pursuing I4WDTA certification and has already led workshops on off-road techniques and vehicle recovery. She also speaks about mindset, emotional intelligence, and overcoming imposter syndrome.
“The Rebelle helped me realize I could be a leader. That I had something to offer beyond just competing.”
Katie says the rally gave her a new approach to life. Before Rebelle, she often second-guessed herself. Now, she’s more decisive, confident, and grounded.
“I learned to trust my instincts and take action even when it feels uncomfortable. That’s where real growth happens.”
It wasn’t just the rally that pushed her forward. It was the community behind it.
“You’re surrounded by people who believe in you. And eventually, you start believing in yourself too.”
“Take a deep breath. Trust yourself. You’ve got this—more than you know. You are a badass and you can do hard things.”
Turn Down for What brings her right back to the 2023 finish line. A bottle of champagne popped from the heat. Music blasted. Her teammate and friends celebrated around her after one of the hardest and most joyful weeks of her life.
Katie says Rebelle didn’t just influence her career. It changed how she approaches every part of her life.
“It gave me the confidence to take risks, the clarity to lead, and the community to keep growing.”
