Reserved when I'm in an unfamiliar setting with new people. Goofy and out going when I am not.

What is your occupation and what does that mean to you?

I am Co-owner of Discover 4x4 Adventures, an offroad based adventure company that focuses on education and safety as well as guided trips. Almost 5 years go I started looking for full time work, as my kids didn't need me at home much anymore. After spending some time looking, I had a hard time finding something that I felt passionate about and could dedicate 40-50 hours of my week to. Shortly thereafter, my husband and I started our business part-time, while we both still worked. About 18 moths later, we were both working for our business full-time. We love being able to share the outdoors and our love for the offroad world with everyone we meet!

As a navigator: letting go of my mistakes. As a driver: Letting go of having to know all the details. As a navigator, you really KNOW all the details.

How has the rally changed you and what made you want to come back?

The rally really gave me the confidence to step up as more of a leader in our local offroad community, which then lead to the start of our business.

Do you have any memorable moments with cars?

When I was in high school, my husband (yes we've been together since high school) had a 1970 Chevy Nova that he would take to the local 1/4 mile track with our car buddies, who also had track cars. Those times together really started my love for motorsports.

Vehicle

2008 Jeep Wrangler
We are driving a 2008 JKU. We chose this vehicle because we both have owned the same vehicle with the same engine previously. We are both very familiar with the engine, suspension, and steering. Should we have a mechanical failure, there is a good chance that at least one of us will know how to fix it.
