10TH RALLY EDITION: OCTOBER 8 – 18, 2025

Finding North

Our friendship began over 5 years ago while working for Stryten Energy in the headquarters office. While we may seem like an unlikely pair with our different personalities, we’ve always just clicked, respecting each other’s opinions. As the years went by, our bond grew stronger, and we became close friends. Stryten Energy sponsored their first team (Coordinate Hunters) to compete in the 2024 Rebelle Rally. When the company announced they’d be sponsoring a second team later that year, we both knew in an instant… we were all in! Without a second thought, we reached out to each other and got to work. We submitted a short survey and put together a video that captured our friendship and why we wanted to compete in the Rebelle Rally. We were drawn to the rally’s navigation challenges (no GPS!), the demanding terrain, and the sheer scale of the adventure. It was a perfect opportunity to be pushed far outside our comfort zones. We were absolutely thrilled to be chosen as the second team. The Rebelle Rally is unlike anything either of us has ever attempted. We know there will be plenty of laughs, lessons learned, and maybe a few bumps in the road, but one thing is for sure: we’re going to finish this together!!!

I’m a bit of a perfectionist who like getting things just right, especially when it comes to numbers and problem-solving. At the same time, I try to bring empathy into everything I do, whether it’s work or everyday life.

What is your occupation and what does that mean to you?

Being a Senior Accounting Manager means a lot to me. It’s not just about crunching numbers or managing reports. It’s about taking responsibility, leading a team and making sure things run smoothly. I like knowing that my work helps keep everything on track and that I’m supporting others along the way. Outside of work, this job reminds me to stay organized and patient, qualities that definitely come in handy juggling family life.

Why the Rebelle? Why now?

It was an unexpected opportunity through work that I just couldn’t say no to as it felt too exciting and unique to pass up. It’s completely outside my comfort zone and that’s exactly why I want to do it. I’m at the age where I’m ready to push myself, take a bold challenge, and prove that I can tackle something this big, even without a motorsports background. There is never a perfect time, but right now feels the right time to say yes to adventure and growth! Plus, I get to do it with my best friend!!!

Who, or what, inspires you most?

Greatest adventure to date?

There’s nothing I love more than travelling with my family and our trip to Vancouver was by far the best adventure we’ve had so far. Every moment of that vacation was unforgettable.

What are your competition objectives and why?

My goal is to finish the rally, have a blast (and maybe a few meltdowns) with my friend/teammate, and make this rally into something unforgettable. I’m in it not just for the thrill, but to push my limits, build lifelong skills and walk away with experiences that’ll stick with me far beyond the finish line.

What makes you tick, outside of work?

Outside of work, I’m a full-time mom so most of my time revolves around my kids’ schedules, sports and school events, and planning our next family adventure. I also really enjoy photography, whether it’s snapping candid moments or doing family portraits. It’s a fun way to get creative, especially when everyone’s actually cooperating!

What is your background in motorsports, and how does that shape how you're approaching the Rebelle?

I don’t have a background in motorsports (unless you count go-karts 😊), but I see that as a strength in some ways. I’m coming into the rally with fresh perspective, a strong willingness to learn, and zero bad habits. I’m focused on preparation, teamwork and staying adaptable because I know to be successful in the rally isn’t just about experience, it’s about mindset and commitment.

What kind of cool experiences do you have outside of the Rebelle?

Had therapeutic mud baths in St Lucia. Island hopping in Palawan, Philippines. Finished 10k race. Took a 12+ hour train ride from Rome to Vienna.

Do you have any memorable moments with cars?

Growing up, we didn't have a family car. From where I came from, cars were considered luxuries, not necessities. So, I always looked forward whenever my uncle and cousins would come and visit us driving his pickup truck. All the kids would pile into the bed while he drives us around the village, or even on longer trips going to my grandparents' hometown.
