The Inaugural Trinitē Road Rally Is Underway

A new motorsport adventure from the team behind Rebelle Rally has officially launched with the first event taking place in Northern California.

May 6, 2026 (San Francisco, California)The inaugural Trinitē Road Rally launched Monday in San Francisco, kicking off a sold-out, four-day rally with 38 teams taking on a multi-day driving experience across Northern California.

The event opened with Technical Inspection and welcome at the historic Golden Gate Club in the Presidio. On Tuesday, teams departed from the Bay Area Discovery Museum to begin the first of three competitive driving days. Competitors are navigating using printed roadbooks, following instructions in real time without access to preloaded routes. Highlights included Mt. Tamalpais, northern Marin County, and epic scenery of Highway 1 high above the Pacific Ocean.

Trinitē is a driving and navigation rally built around precision navigation, timing and execution. The format includes Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) Challenges, where teams are scored on maintaining assigned average speeds, arriving at precise timing points, and completing Observation Challenges throughout the course. The lowest overall score leads the standings.

“Motorsport should be experienced by all, not merely as a spectator,” Founder Emily Miller stated. “Trinitē is about place, people, and the experience of driving. It’s the perfect combination of great driving and friendly competition, from the fire pit to the track. Each section of the course has been carefully crafted to create an unforgettable driving experience.”

That format is already being put to the test on course.

“Yesterday was a fun and social tech inspection, but today began the real challenge. The teams were immediately put to the test on the roadbook, with the first timing section happening less than half an hour from the start line, followed immediately by their first Observation Challenge section. The difficulty eased up in the middle of the day with transit sections, and then finished up with more TSD timing sections before they arrived at the beautiful and scenic Pacific Star Winery. Tomorrow the difficulty cranks up after the morning break. Right off the start line there’s a medium difficulty timing section to warm them up, with the competition really heating up after the lunch break,” said Scoring Director Chrissie Beavis.

The field includes a broad mix of vehicles, from vintage models like a 1967 Porsche 912 and 1967 Ford Mustang to modern performance and luxury vehicles such as an Aston Martin DB11 Volante. The lineup also includes SUVs and trucks such as the Ford Bronco Raptor, Land Rover Defender 90, Toyota Land Cruiser and INEOS Grenadier. OEM entries from Ford, Chrysler, Warner INEOS Grenadier, Subaru, Lucid and Bentley are participating in the inaugural event, including electric and hybrid vehicles such as the all-new Subaru Trailseeker EV AWD, the 2026 Lucid Air Sapphire, the 2026 Lucid Gravity Grand Touring and the 2026 Bentley Continental GT S hybrid. The intention of the rally is to give a platform for all vehicles to shine.

The rally continues north through California, covering more than 500 miles before concluding later this week with TSD sessions on the Sonoma Raceway Presented by Pennzoil and final awards.

Teams can be followed in real time via the Richta Rally Scoreboard app. Competitor bios are available at triniterally.com/2026teams, with select updates on @triniteroadrally on Instagram.
