Toyota and the Rebelle Rally Continue Partnership in 2026

Toyota continues its longstanding support with a Toyota Production Engineering team competing in this year’s rally.

September 24, 2026 (Reno, NV) — Toyota and the Rebelle Rally continue their partnership in 2026, with Toyota returning as a partner of the 11th edition set to take place this October.

Toyota’s involvement provides a real-world platform to demonstrate the durability, reliability and capability of its trucks and SUVs while supporting an event built around precision, problem-solving, teamwork and decision-making in challenging terrain.

Toyota’s connection to the Rebelle Rally extends beyond partnership, with employees and leaders having experienced the competition firsthand. Susann Kazunas, Group Vice President, Manufacturing Business Operations and Production Engineering for Toyota Motor North America, competed in the 2023 Rebelle Rally and knows its unique demands from behind the wheel.

“The Rebelle Rally is the ultimate driving and navigation endurance competition, where precision and time management separate the field. Not only does the rally test the competitors’ skill, but it serves as a proving ground for our products in the spirit of challenge and kaizen.”

The women-focused Rebelle Rally aligns with Toyota’s commitment to creating opportunities and supporting women across the automotive, engineering and outdoor communities. Through vehicle preparation, training, competition coverage and individual team stories, the Rally creates authentic storytelling opportunities while connecting Toyota with truck owners, off-road enthusiasts and adventure seekers throughout the year.

Toyota will also have a team on the 2026 competition field, with two employees from Toyota Production Engineering (PE) making their Rebelle Rally debut in a 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser. Their participation brings Toyota’s engineering expertise directly into the competition and provides an opportunity to experience firsthand the preparation, navigation and decision-making required to compete in the Rebelle Rally.

“Toyota is a great partner of the Rebelle Rally, and we’re proud to continue that relationship in 2026. Our community applauds their commitment to real-world testing, continuous improvement and supporting their employees in hands-on, authentic challenges. We appreciate their belief that the experiences on the Rebelle translate to their staff, vehicles and customers.” — Emily Miller, Founder and Director of the Rebelle Rally

The Rebelle Rally challenges teams to navigate more than 2,500 kilometers across the Nevada, Utah and California desert using paper maps, compasses and roadbooks, without GPS, cell phones or outside assistance. Rather than racing against the clock, teams are challenged on precision, strategy and their ability to make decisions in constantly changing terrain and conditions.

The 2026 Rebelle Rally will take place October 7–17, 2026, bringing teams together for nine days of competition across Nevada, California, and Utah, before concluding with the Awards Gala on October 17. Follow live at rebellerally.com.
