Behind the Brand

Meet Maureen Kline, Pirelli’s North America Vice President, Public Affairs & Sustainability

Based in Italy and with an enviable motorsports pedigree, Pirelli is globally known as a leader in performance and high quality for both on an off-road. Another way the brand is leading the charge globally? With their sustainability efforts and focus on their impact on the world around them.

We had the chance recently to sit down with Maureen Kline, Pirelli’s North America Vice President, Public Affairs & Sustainability, to find out more about Pirelli’s long history in the fight against climate change. Making impactful strides comes second nature to Pirelli, who is committed to carbon neutrality by 2030, and we were excited to discuss Pirelli’s current and future strategies with Maureen.

Find out more about what sets Pirelli apart from the rest and what makes their goals historic by reading our latest Q&A.

Team Feature

Team Wild Grace - Sedona Blinson and Lyn Woodward

When they don’t have a smile on their faces, they’re fiercely competing year after year. Team Wild Grace, Sedona Blinson and Lyn Woodward, are a force to be reckon with in the dirt, but that’s not the only reason we’re highlighting the team this month. Sedona is a 100% Rebelle having competed every year since 2016, and Lyn is a five time Rebelle. For the four years they’ve been a team, they’ve challenged each other, pushed each other, been there for one another, and on top of it all, given each other a little grace. The resulting factor has been a life changing experience for not only the team, but the people around them as well. Get to know what makes this team an extraordinary duo now.

Rebelle Selects

Big Agnes, Mother of Comfort

A successful Rebelle Rally or challenging adventure is all about preparation and choosing the right gear that you can trust. What’s critical for a success? A good night’s sleep! Which is why we don’t go anywhere without our Big Agnes gear. Two of our favorites that have withstood all types of weather and elements over the years are the Women’s Daisy Mae 0° and sleeping bag liners (cotton, fleece & wool). The quality and durability of their equipment levels up any night spent outdoors and make sleeping in the dirt a whole new (comfortable) experience according to Founder/Director Emily Miller:

“I camp at least 50-70+ days a year in all different types of terrain and temperatures. I discovered Big Agnes years ago – and their products stand apart from the rest. You can tell the company uses and tests the equipment themselves as it’s hands-down exceptional. And the women’s specific line was a game changer for me – definitely the Mother of Comfort.”

Rebelle U Tip

Drivers! Do you practice good habits every day when you get behind the wheel?  Remember…It’s all in the eyes. Great drivers know that eye placement is critical for smooth, successful off-road driving and rallying. Practice not only on dirt but every day when you drive. Push your eyes farther down the road, through the turns and stay present.

We can all use tips for driving and navigation to improve and retain skills. Every month we will be highlighting a Rebelle U recommendation presented by Pennzoil – all the tips and advice future participants can take into the Rebelle, or any future adventures!
