October 3, 2022 Reno, NV – The Rebelle Rally is proud to announce Toyota as Presenting Partner of the 2022 Live Webcast. Kicking off Friday October 7th, the daily shows will include coverage throughout the event from the Prologue stage on the 7th to the final day of events in Glamis on October 15th.
The show will run multiple times per day at www.rebellerally.com. Fans can also watch on YouTube, and Facebook. It is the best way to follow the intricacies of the Rebelle Rally as the competition unfolds. Coverage will include competition format review, standings, competitor interviews, live hits from the course, highlights and an inside look at team planning and strategy. Live tracking, real-time scoring, team bios can be accessed at www.rebellerally.com/live.
The live show will be hosted by past Rebelle winner and automotive journalist Emme Hall and professional motorsports driver Matthew Johnson. As the only woman to ever win both the 4×4 and the X-Cross™ Classes at the Rebelle Rally (along with her teammate Rebecca Donaghe), Hall offers a unique perspective on what is required to be successful at the Rebelle Rally. Returning host Matthew has a pair of national rally championships to his name and has been an announcer for X-Games Rallycross.
Emme and Matthew will be joined by Katy Kunkel and Harry Wagner for color commentary. Katy hails from New Zealand and is a 2017 Rebelle competitor and live host. Before founding her current company, Daily Briefs, she held a career in advertising on Madison Avenue but adventure sports from skiing and cycling to Rebelle are her passions. Harry is a lifelong off-road enthusiast whose varied interests include not only competition (he has been a navigator in the Baja 1000, King of the Hammers, and Sonora Rally) but overlanding and rockcrawling as well.
Also returning this year is the Ultimate Rebelle Live Show Giveaway, with valuable prizes from our partners including YETI, MAXTRAX, and DMOS Collective. Watch closely as more details on how to enter will be announced during the webcast!
