July 17th, 2025 – Reno, NV
Toyota is returning to the Rebelle Rally in 2025 as a Silver Partner and the Presenting Sponsor of Rebelle Rally LIVE for the fourth consecutive year. Their continued support underscores a strong commitment to real-world vehicle testing, team growth and leadership development, and fan connection through live coverage.
This year, Toyota will field seven teams, matching their largest-ever lineup from last year. Six of the teams feature employees representing departments across the company including Powertrain Engineering (PE), Research & Development (R&D), Strategic Planning and Advanced Development (SPAD), and the Vehicle Manufacturing Center (VMC).
Joining them as Toyota’s first external team are seasoned Rebelle competitors Rachelle Croft and Taylor Pawley. Both competitors of the inaugural 2016 Rebelle Rally, Croft and Pawley teamed up in 2019 to take the overall 4×4 win and Bone Stock Award. This year, they reunite to compete once again, this time in a Toyota 4Runner.
Their 2025 participation was officially announced this past weekend at the inaugural The Big Thing event, held at the XOVERLAND Ranch in Montana. On hand for the announcement were Rebelle Rally founder Emily Miller, Croft, Pawley, and Toyota Senior Manager Samantha Barber, a three-time Rebelle, 2024 4×4 podium finisher, and Rookie of the Year.
Marking the 10th edition of the Rebelle Rally, this year’s live webcast coverage also welcomes a new voice behind the mic. ESPN Senior Editor and on-air commentator, Alyssa Roenigk will serve as co-host of the Rebelle Rally LIVE Show presented by Toyota. Roenigk brings more than two decades of sports journalism experience, having covered 12 Olympic Games, 20 X Games, Grand Slam tennis, and World Cup soccer. Her work has appeared on SportsCenter, Outside the Lines, and Good Morning America.
Roenigk is a three-time Rebelle competitor with a podium finish, bringing firsthand insight into the experience and mindset behind the rally.
“I’m thrilled to return to the Rebelle in this exciting new role,” said Roenigk. “It’s an incredible honor to be part of the 10th anniversary show and join a stellar team in making this the best live show yet. I plan to bring the same energy and commitment I brought to the Rebelle as a competitor into this new role.”
Spanning over 2,500 kilometers across Nevada and California, the Rebelle Rally is the longest competitive off-road rally in the U.S., with a focus on precision and endurance rather than speed. Teams use paper maps, compasses, roadbooks, and strategy to navigate each day with no GPS, no cell phones, and no outside assistance.
With Toyota’s continued support, fans around the world will once again have access to Rebelle Rally LIVE, the daily webcast featuring in-depth team interviews, competition highlights, and real-time updates. This year’s show will air multiple times each day and be available on rebellerally.com, YouTube, and Facebook.
The 2025 competition begins with Tech Inspection at Mammoth Mountain on October 8th. The official start takes place on October 9th, with 9 days of competition, and concluding with the Awards Gala on October 18th on the shores of the Colorado River along the borders of California, Arizona, and Nevada.
