May 20, 2026 (Sonoma, California) – The inaugural Trinitē Road Rally concluded after four unforgettable days and more than 500 miles of precision driving through Northern California.
Created by the team behind the Rebelle Rally, Trinitē brought together 38 teams and a remarkably diverse field of stock production vehicles, ranging from classic sports cars and vintage 4x4s to luxury performance cars, modern EVs, and off-road SUVs. That variety was one of the most refreshing aspects of the event and reflected Trinitē’s core philosophy: creating a great competition for stock production vehicles that is not based on outright speed, but on precision and consistency. By welcoming all types of vehicles, Trinitē offers a place where the fun comes from the shared driving experience, and where the diversity of vehicles is as impressive as it is refreshing.
Beginning in San Francisco and traveling north along the Pacific Coast, through the redwoods, and back south to Sonoma Raceway, teams completed 500 miles of stunning and diverse roads marked by over 2,500 corners, making for a great driver’s course coupled with a great challenge for navigators.
Day 1 crossed Mt. Tamalpais, Highway 1 along the cliffs of the Pacific to hidden backroads with a final stop at Pacific Star on the ocean’s edge. Day 2 took competitors inland from the Mendocino coast through redwoods, canyons, and backroads en route to River Electric in Guerneville. Each day included 5 time, speed, distance challenges along with additional observation challenges for the navigators. Competitors found the challenge was higher than even expected.
After two days of navigating some of Northern California’s most scenic and technical roads, the rally’s final competitive stage brought teams to the track.
On Day 3, competitors traveled south to Sonoma Raceway for Track Day Presented by Pennzoil. After guided preview laps led by professional drivers, teams competed in two timed sessions where success was determined not by outright speed, but by crossing five timing controls at exact target times. By the end of the day, each team had completed 19 timing control scores on one of the most iconic circuits in the country.
In the Track Day Presented by Pennzoil, Team #25 Britton and Laura Wanlass earned top honors, followed by Team #22 Lyn Woodward and Sedona Blinson. Third place went to Team #24 Leslie Peters and Kara Yde, showcasing the same precision and consistency required throughout the rally.
“It began at sunrise on a coastal road and ended on a world-class race track,” said Founder Emily Miller. “Trinitē is about the joy of driving, the challenge of precision, and the camaraderie that forms when people share an extraordinary journey and challenge together.”
In Trinitē, the team with the fewest penalty points earns the highest ranking.
The inaugural Trinitē Road Rally concluded with a celebratory dinner and awards presentation at Wing & Barrel Ranch, a private sporting club in the heart of Sonoma wine country. Competitors, partners, and organizers gathered to reflect on four memorable days of driving, competition, and camaraderie as the first chapter of Trinitē came to a close.
